Penelope C. Fletcher is the President and chief executive of the Lupus
Foundation of America Greater Washington Chapter. The Foundation
provides current information, educational programs and outreach,
research and support services to improve the quality of lives of people
with lupus and their families. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art
History from the College of William & Mary. Penelope has a long history
of work in not-for-profits including leadership positions at the Capital
Children's Museum and the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center. Penelope
lives in Arlington, Virginia.
Mary Hammett is committed to the affirmation, education, and
empowerment of every individual. A lifelong lay minister and educator,
she has invested the past 25 years in teaching theology, directing
campus ministry, conducting student leadership training, and serving as
an academic advisor at the secondary level, as well as designing and
directing retreats for youth, adults, and children. Mary has a bachelor’s
degree in theology and has earned multiple graduate hours in theology,
counseling, and pastoral ministry from both St. Louis University and
Aquinas Institute of Theology. She enjoys spending time with her 2
teenage children, as well as cooking, fishing, traveling, enjoying music,
and riding roller coasters. Ms. Hammett aspires to one day obtaining
her helicopter pilot’s license.
Kevin P. Hogan is a Senior Tax Consultant at Humes & Barrington, L.L.
P, a full-service Certified Public Accounting firm in St. Louis, Missouri.
He holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration-
Finance/Economics from the Helzberg School of Management at
Rockhurst University in Kansas City as well as a Bachelor's of Science in
Accounting from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Kevin is a
member of the Missouri Society of CPAs.
Shelley Hogan, SSND, is an educator, mentor and educational
activist. A vowed member of the SSND community for more than 25
years, Sr. Shelley's educational and spiritual styles are substantive,
approachable and edifying. She has participated in the world of
education on multiple levels as student, teacher, principal and
administrator and has broadened her reach to the cyberspace
classroom through her on-line prayer ministry. A native of St. Louis,
she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Notre Dame College,
St. Louis and a Master's Degree in English from the University of Notre
Dame, South Bend.
Susan M. Kammerer is the owner of Spatial Data Research (SDR), a
consulting and software development firm located in Lawrence, Kansas
providing 9-1-1 database development and mapping services to local
governments. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Spanish
and a Master’s Degree in Spanish from the University of Missouri,
Columbia. Prior to launching Spatial Data Research in 1993, Susan
worked in higher education as an instructor at the University of
Missouri, Kansas City, and at Rockhurst University. She will begin work
on a Master’s of Business Administration in the Fall of 2007.
Susan lives in Cedar Hill, Missouri.
Geraldine M. Rohling, Ph.D., M.A.Ed., is an accomplished musicologist
and liturgist specializing in Austrian sacred music and ritual. Dr. Rohling
is known for her work as a scholar, lecturer, teacher and editor of
performing editions of Viennese masters and is a recognized composer
in her own right. Ms. Rohling earned her Master's Degree at
Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri where she studied classical
guitar and lute. A graduate of The Catholic University of America with a
Ph.D. in musicology and liturgy, she furthered her music studies at the
University of Vienna. Dr. Rohling lives and works in Washington, D.C.
